If you’re uneducated, do not use that as an excuse. Do not say, “I’m not picking sides because I don’t know the full story,” because not picking a side is supporting Wilson. And by supporting him, you are on a racist side. Whether you like it or not. Don’t choose ignorance. Get educated. Do your research.
Ask people. Don’t say something rude, or anything that is disrespectful. Say, “I am not educated on the current events in Ferguson, please explain what is going on, and please provide links, if you can. I want to be educated in this and take part.”
Just fucking send that to someone on tumblr anonymously, they’ll answer you, I promise! Text your friends, DM someone on Twitter, send an ask to someone on tumblr. Ignoring this situation will put you in deep shit, and it makes you racist. If you’re not racist, do not just say “but I’m not racist!!” just get educated and reblog anything you can. Spread the word and share your opinion.

If you get “educated” and take Wilson’s side, and post things supporting him, just know that you are racist. No matter how many POC you know in your life, you are racist.

Get educated, and stop ignoring this. This is a revolution.
